Summary of the observation runs

In all, 61 galaxies, mostly dwarfs have been imaged and subsequently photometrically analyzed. The galaxies are located for the most in groups of different density or richness, the richest being M81, followed by the loose M101 group and the low galactic density Canes Venatici I (CVnI) cloud. The range in total luminosities is greatest in the M81 group, where one finds galaxies from 35#35 down to 24#24 in 10#10. The M81 group is also the group with the most early type dwarfs, in absolute and relative numbers, with some eight dEs of the around forty known members. This can be compared to the M101 group where there is only one known dE, of the twelve known members, the faintest of which is 36#36 in 10#10. The measured galaxies in the CVnI cloud have absolute luminosities from 37#37 to 38#38 10#10 magnitudes and are mostly of late types except for three or four early types (all classifications are not certain). Of all galaxies in the region, there are about five or six early types, out of about forty.
